Louella Michael is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based artist and artsworker working primarily with interactive and kinetic sculpture. Michael works at the intersection between craft, art and technology, exploring how the virtual has fractured and reframed our understanding and interactions with space, self and community. 

In 2024 Michael founded The Noticeboard, an online guide and archive focusing on independent and emerging creative activity in Magandjin. In 2025 Michael entered the Program and Exhibitions Manager role at Flying Arts Alliance where she manages over 10 exhibitions through the year alongside a broad program of workshops, webinars and mentorship consultations all working to develop and platform regional artists across the state.
